About Marcie
Marcie Teenor, CPA
Founder and principal of Wescot Advisors. Fractional CFO & COO for growing, owner‑led businesses.

A note from Marcie
Why I started Wescot
I’ve spent my career as the person who tells leadership what the numbers mean. For more than a decade I’ve been CFO of a commercial real estate firm. Before that I ran business operations for a large school district, where I oversaw a $125 million budget and sat on the owner’s side of more than $150 million in construction.
Most growing, owner‑led businesses can’t hire someone with that background full time, and they shouldn’t have to. What they need is numbers they can trust, someone to explain them plainly, and a habit of acting on them.
That’s why I started Wescot Advisors. I’ll tell you the truth about your numbers, even when it’s hard to hear, and I’ll build up your own people and systems so that over time you need me less.
